Cheung Sha Trick or Treat!

Hi Everyone,

The Cheung Fu Street Halloween Trick or Treat Run will take place on:

SUNDAY 31st OCTOBER

Please meet: At the Leyburn Tennis Court
Time: 16h30

Route: Around Leyburn, down South Lantau Road to Cheung Fu street, up to Butterfly Crest and down to Ken and Sharon's house.  We should end up there by about 5h30. Those with littlies can then go home, those going on to Palm Beach can do so.

A Few Requests:

Please ONLY Trick or Treat at houses that are decorated.

If you are not a resident of Leyburn or Butterfly Crest, please contribute a bag or two of sweets to someone you know taking part, or stand and dish out in the street along the route. We have many children coming to trick or treat and as the number of kids we need to provide candies for increases every year, it's getting rather expensive (and some people ran out of sweeties last year....) Think we had about 50-60 kids last year???

Along the stretch of South Lantau Road I would appreciate a few adult volunteers to stand along the pavement and check that the kids stay on the pavement. I will try to get lights from the WAter Buffalo's boats for these adults to use to slow traffic down if necessary. Can't do this myself as will be with the kids and husband is away and helper will be handing out lollies... Please let me know by email barbshaupt@hotmail.com if you can help out with this.
