A group of eco-friendly enthusiasts are organizing a
Sustainable Living Fair in Mui Wo

Date: 23 October (Sunday) and 30 October (Sunday) 2011
8:00 AM - 12:00 noon
Location: Outside Mui Wo Wetmarket near where the old farmers sit
Purpose:
1. To encourage people to consume more local produce and support local farmers.
2. To learn and share ideas of organic farming and sustainable living among the local organic farming communities and residents.
3. To enhance the harmony of the community at large. An opportunity to meet local residents and neighbours in our multi-cultural community.
There will be organic produce for sale: roquette (a.k.a. arugula; rocket), Thai ginger (Kha), fresh Turmeric, lemon grass, herbs, handmade soap, organic coconut oil, organic home-made bread, fresh handmade pasta, homemade snacks, handmade cow dung compost and much more.
Local bee keepers will join us to share information about bee keeping.
Please bring along your own homemade/handmade eco friendly products, to swap or to give away second-hand items like books and CD/VCDs or even small pieces of furniture.
Please come and join us to have a pleasant and relaxing Sunday morning. Or just come to chill out!
