Eco-swap party on April 16th

Swap PartyThere will be another Swap Party next Saturday 16 April from 4-6pm at The China Beach Club in Mui Wo. Bring along items in good condition - clothes, books, CDs/DVDs, household goods, tools, anything - and you'll receive a token for each one, which you can then use to take something you like that somebody else has brought along. 


No money exchanged; puts items back into circulation instead of being dumped or left to clutter your house; saves you buying new items; reduces impact on the environment, e.g. one suitcase of clothes saves enough energy to run a TV non-stop for 1.7 years; 25kgs of books saves enough water to fill 150 spa baths (RecyclingWeek.PlanetArk.org  ). And it's all good fun. We'll try to start once everyone has arrived so everyone gets a fair chance of grabbing the goodies.
