Liu Quan Jun is a Chen Tai Ji quan and Qi Gong master and Tui Na healer from Xinjiang, China. He is
director of the Tai Ji Circle in London and a disciple of Grand Master Chen Xiao Wang, the Chen family
lineage holder. Sui Ming Chu has studied with Shifu Liu for many years and is bringing him to Hongkong
for the first time. This is a unique opportunity to study the traditional arts of Chen Tai Ji Quan (tai chi
chuan) and Da Bei Qi Gong (chi gong). The mix of slow and dynamic movements help the body, breath
and mind relax, this increases energy, helps coordination, balance and strength.
Shifu Liu will teach and correct movements and posture which will help you to gain a deeper
experience of the essence of Chinese internal martial arts. Open to students of all levels.

2.00 – 5.00 pm: 38 Chen Form
7.00 – 9.00 pm: Da Bei Qi Gong

Evening Qi Gong classes are free for the elderly or those with chronic illness
Chen Foundation Training – Silk Reeling
The roots of the Chen style lie in correct practice of the standing post (zhan zhaung) and the silk
reeling exercises (chansi gong).
38 Part Chen style Tai Ji Quan Form
Taught step-by-step, this routine designed by Grand Master Chen Xiao Wang, contains
movements taken from the old and new style Chen tai ji quan forms. It is well balanced and an
excellent preparation for learning the longer forms.
Da Bei Qi Gong
Shifu Liu bought this very special qi gong practice to the UK from China. With its roots in Buddhism, it
is a meditative, relaxing practice for the cultivation of energy, healing and compassion.
